The following writers and artists were published in the Lycoming College Fall 2024 issue of The Tributary. See their bios, links to their featured works, and social media handles below.

Poetry

Sara Van Reymersdal – Dandelion

Sara is a junior English Secondary Education Major from Doylestown, PA. She writes poetry, young adult, and fantasy. When not caught up in a good book, she likes getting comfortably lost in the woods, wandering around Walmart with her friends, and playing with her dogs.

Elise Bach – Polaroid

Elise (occasionally known as Charlie) is an English Literature major at Lycoming College. Her main inspiration comes from Melville, but she enjoys taking pieces of inspiration from everything she reads. 

Ella J. Rossman – Survival of the Smallest

El(la) is a senior at Lycoming College pursuing a Creative Writing degree with a Secondary Education English certification. When they aren’t writing poetry or lesson plans, you can find them in the AST lounge or napping in the library.

Julia Stetts – Hail, Athazagoraphobia

Julia Stetts is a Senior pursuing a Major in English, as well as minors in philosophy and music. She lives in South Williamsport Pennsylvania with her beloved boyfriend, who supports her writing endeavors with great enthusiasm. When she’s not in class, at work, or doing chores, she enjoys playing videogames, writing stories and songs, and drawing concept art for her respective story ideas. Her dream job is being a stay-at-home mom and freelance artist.

Julz Martin – Testing Limits, Same Day

Julz Martin is a senior at Lycoming College with majors in Art Generalism, Painting, and K-12 Art Education.

Fiction

Amanda Charowsky – The Peace Testimony

Amanda Charowsky, class of 2025, is a History major from Pottsville, Pennsylvania. When she is not writing, she is watching her favorite period dramas, reading, or researching for her other historical fiction works. IG: @amandareadshistory

Art

Soren Ashman – Why I Have These Eyes, Nostalgia, Everything Sings

Soren is a first-year student majoring in Art History and minoring in Anthropology. After college, he would like to work in a museum, educating others. He loves to talk to people, be outdoors, and make art. You will most likely find Soren in an Academic Center study booth at any time of day or night, constantly writing and drawing. 

Eric Smith – Photography Portfolio

Eric Smith enjoys photography as a hobby and primarily tries to take photos in nature that highlight the small and often-missed details.

MK Kracker – Cloud – FFVII

MK Kracker is a Lycoming College sophomore and is a Double Major in Creative Writing and Art (A concentration in 3D Animation). This is the second time MK will have shown up in the Tributary; the first being Fall of 2023 MK has been drawing seriously going on for about 10 years now and hopes to involve their passion for art in their future career. They have created a variety of different projects over the years, ranging from personal work, short story illustrations, a mural for high school, and multiple t-shirt designs.
